The UU Gospel Twins

From late 1999 through the summer of 2008,  Kelli Clement and Paul Riedesel performed together as the UU Gospel Twins. They began with singing old time and roots music in their home church of First Universalist in Minneapolis and other venues.

In 2002 they began a new venture--the presentation of "worshipful programs" of music, readings and reflections in UU congregations throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Kelli assumed the duties of Summer Minister at First Universalist in 2008 and will serve as a Ministerial Intern at the White Bear UU church in 2008-2009. With this turn of the page, the UU Gospel Twins are no longer an active ensemble. It was a great run.

"Your music filled the air with beauty and goodness. I felt the change of atmosphere as soon as you began singing and playing."

Mary Junge, Association of Universalist Women
"The UU Gospel Twins truly bring good news along with their music. Their songs can be provocative, poignant, joyous, or full of mischief--but always the spirit of their commitment shines through."
